Founded in Melbourne in 1947 to provide commercial and industrial cleaning services, Holwill was purchased by CAL Cleaning Services in 1978 establishing the company as one of the largest commercial cleaning companies in Australia. The combined business included 300 employees and a client list of organisations such as Coles, Safeway and LJ.Hooker whose sites included Waverly Gardens, Chirnside Park (awarded the most improved centre by PCA), Sunshine Shopping Plaza and Deer Park Shopping Centre.
